I am an actress, an artist, a maker of things and a doer.
Biography
I am a 30-somethinger Southerner who moved from Brooklyn to the beautiful Hudson Valley with my husband and our two dogs and two cats and soon-to-be first child. I'm an actress by profession in plays, TV and films and inbetween (and during) acting jobs I'm making everything I can think of...dolls, clothes, paper goods, stickers, plushies, jewelry, home goods, plus cooking and baking and gardening and canning and preserving...and the list goes on. I have a bit of a passion for a handmade life. Current inspirations include (but are not limited to) the woods and nature, animals, the heart and spirit, the 1920s and 1930s, Scandinavian aesthetics, decorating and design, and now...baby stuff :) Currently exploring woodworking, writing and making people with my own body.
Interests
crafting, painting, sewing, wine, cooking, politics, eating, fairy tales, looking at art, crafters, the environment, and people who drink wine. i like reading and i am devoted to public radio. i love old movies, fashion from the 1920s and 1960s, crossword puzzles and boys with glasses (like my husband). among other things. Currently pregnant with my first child and it's a boy and I know he's going to be as sweet and quirky as his dad.
